Somehow there seems to be a high demand to have this forum in addition to the existing mailing list (murex-l@listserv.linke.de) and mailing list archives (listserv.linke.de).
I think there is a small risk to split the information in too many places, but on the other hand I believe that this might help us to reduce off-topic discussions on the mailing list.
So here we go ... forums are now available ...
There will be no formal moderation on this forum. Certainly we won't allow spam, but everything you want to ask should be fine here. This is different from the mailing list were some people easily get upset with discussions, which don't really belong there ... This should especially be helpful for beginners.
Also please note, that the response times in the forum will be much slower! For the mailing list, everybody is immediately notified whereby the forum needs to be checked manually by the users ...
If you think we should add more categories: please let me know ...

Is there some kind of list of users registered to the forum ?
below the post there should be a button "edit". do you have that one? it disappears after 2h I believe
there is no userlist because it would be abused by agents and recruiters ...
